Gordon J. Flesch Scholarship Program Awards 20 Scholarships for 2026

MADISON, WI – The Gordon J. Flesch Scholarship Program is proud to announce the awarding of 20 scholarships to the dependent children of company employees for 2026. Established in 1995 and named in honor of company founder Gordon Flesch, the program has supported the educational goals of associates’ families for more than 30 years. To date, more than $2 million in scholarships has been awarded, underscoring the company’s ongoing investment in the future of its extended community.

The Gordon J. Flesch Scholarship Program is administered by Scholarship America, a third-party organization that reviews all applications and selects recipients based solely on merit.

The program is open to children of Gordon Flesch Company associates who have been employed with the company for at least one year and are planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school (undergraduate only). Applicants are evaluated on academic achievement as well as non-academic accomplishments, including leadership roles, community involvement and extracurricular activities.

Twenty recipients were selected to receive awards this year. “This program reflects our continued commitment to supporting the aspirations of our associates’ families,” says Patrick Flesch, President and CEO of Gordon Flesch Company. “Each year, we’re inspired by the drive, talent and determination these students demonstrate as they take the next step in their educational journeys.”

Up to twenty $4,000 scholarships are awarded annually. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply each year they meet eligibility requirements. Applications are reviewed by a third party based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership, participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience and a statement of goals and aspirations.

Gordon Flesch Company, Inc. established a scholarship program in 1995 to assist associates' children who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time undergraduate study at an accredited institution of the student's choice.
