At the Gordon Flesch Company, we’ve long worked to lessen the impact of our business’s environmental footprint on the planet. As a company deeply committed to and intertwined with the communities we serve, we understand that responsible environmental practices are a local – as well as a global – imperative.

From reselling and refurbishing used equipment to reducing energy consumption to recycling a variety of waste products, the Gordon Flesch Company is committed to doing our part to move toward a more efficient and sustainable future.

Reuse
We continually seek out ways to make office equipment last longer and do more.
Older models are sold to wholesalers, who refurbish and sell them in overseas markets. Equipment that cannot be sold is stripped for parts, and any remaining materials are shipped to a recycling center.

Reduce
The Gordon Flesch Company has taken a number of energy-saving steps, from using more energy-efficient equipment in our offices to installing lighting in our 38,000-foot warehouse that is expected to nearly halve our electricity consumption.

In addition, our equipment partners are all committed to building smaller, more efficient and less wasteful machines.

Recycle
The Gordon Flesch Company is committed to recycling for our environment. We recycle paper, aluminum and other materials both in our offices and warehouses. We also work with our partners to recycle toner cartridges and other recyclable machine parts.

Toner Recycling Programs

Our partners are equally focused on protecting our environment and lessening the impact on the planet through recycling programs which contribute to the goal of less landfill waste and environmental impact. Canon's recycling program supports local media recycling and energy recovery through their Toner Container Collection Program. The Sharp Copier Toner Recycling Program allows both business and government customers to recycle toner cartridges from all Sharp MFP models, conveniently and free of cost through pre-paid return cartons and partnering with specific recycling centers nationwide.
